Character sequences lost in saving

I’ve noticed that the character sequences “\n” (backslash + “n”) and “\t” (backslash + “t”) are lost when content is saved, closed, and then opened again. I expect they are being treated as newline and tab characters. Such sequences are useful when quizzes involve programming languages.

Hi Antonio and GP:

I’m not sure about the source of this problem. I think it is not a TinyMCE configuration issue.

In persistxml.py file there is a code that replaces \t with \\t and \n with \\n before saving, but apparently it is not being executed.

I think a ticket should be open to check this problem
