    Can someone point me in the right direction here. I need a short answer idevice that will report back to an LMS sql database. The question will be along the lines of ” What medications are currently prescribed to you?” So each user may have a different answer that is not wrong or right neccessarily. Does that exist? if so where can I get it for importing? I know someone will tell me to just use the LMS to create that sort of question, but I want it to be integrated into the rest of the scorm content seamlessly.  Does anyone have any ideas for me on this?

    Hi Mike:

    There isn’t such an idevice in eXe. Some ideas:

    1) You can create a link or an iframe (i.e.: with external web site) to a quizz in the LMS:

    • Pros: it’s easy to create the .elp
    • Cons: you will have to modify the URL-s in the .elp every time you backup/restore the course in the LMS to a new course

    2) You can use SCORM API and send that info to the LMS.

    • Pros: it will work in any SCORM compliant LMS.
    • Cons: you need some HTML/Javascript knowledge as there is no built in element in eXe to report data to the LMS appart from the grade in SCORM quizz idevice

    Depending on your choice, I could give you more details
